Notes from the PCC meeting held on the 25th February at the Vicarage.
The meeting commenced with worship and apologies, approval of the minutes of the January meeting, and reviewing all the events that have taken place during the last month.
Churchwardens Report
The churchwardens reported covered, repairs to the floodlights, organ tuning at St John’s and church cleaning.
The Churchwardens presented the Inventory and logbook.  
Treasurer’s Report
The treasurer advised that the balance at Lloyds was £2098 and that we have paid £1300 towards our declared Parish Share for 2008 of £8000.
Other Items on the Agenda
It was agreed that the grass in the churchyard would be cut this year. A donation of £200 would be sent to the Open the Book organisation. A donation has been received to purchase notice boards for the church. David Windmill presented a paper on the ‘Toilet Facilities Project’ for St John’s. A review of the questionnaires that have been returned following the public meetings concerning the churchyard. The Revd Geoffrey Burn advised that he would be going to India at Bishop Michael’s request for 4 weeks after Remembrance Sunday this year. The services for Holy Week were discussed.
